Support/Business Documentation Guide

Business Documentation Guide

Business accounts must satisfy know-your-business (KYB) checks with our partners. Unlike personal accounts, companies usually need documents in four separate groups—each with a minimum number of files from specific categories.

All four groups must be satisfied before submission is accepted. Missing even one group blocks review, even if your incorporation certificate is already uploaded.

Documentation suggestions

These document types are commonly accepted. Final requirements may vary by country, account type, and partner policy.

Legal presence

Proves the company legally exists. Accepted examples: certificate of incorporation, articles of incorporation, or official state registry extract. Usually at least one document required.

Ownership structure

Shows who owns the company. Accepted examples: shareholder registry, trust agreement, information statement, or state registry ownership filing. Required to map beneficial owners.

Company details (proof of address)

Confirms the business address. A proof-of-address document at the registered company location—utility bill, lease, or bank statement—typically satisfies this group.

Control structure

Shows who controls or directs the company. Accepted examples: directors registry, trust agreement, information statement, or state registry filing listing officers or directors.
